AHR Meetings and Meeting Rooms

Do you have a meeting set up with reps, customers, or anyone else at AHR?

Make sure you fill out the schedule to let me know when those meetings will be!

I'm in the process of reserving meeting rooms for our team and would like to offer the space to as many of you as I can. It will help to know how many meetings we're planning to have and the times that work for those who will be needing the meeting room. Try to give a good indicator of how long you think your meeting will last.

It's possible not everyone will get to use the meeting room in the Expo Center, but I'm going to try to have the space reserved for as many meetings as possible!

Lead Apps at AHR worth it?

We have had years where everyone had a lead app. This year we cut back and gave it to just some people based on booth schedule and loaded it on a tablet. Please email me or comment below regarding this system. I have included a few positions we would consider for next year. You are welcome to comment simply with "1", "2" or "3" if one of those reflects your position.

  1. I prefer that everyone has their own lead app. It is more convenient not to share and I feel like I can answer the survey more thoroughly when it's on my own phone.
  2. Sharing worked out fine. I feel like I was able to get a lead app when I needed it.
  3. If we just had the app loaded on two or three tablets in the booth, no one would need the app on their phone.

We will have no specific color shirts on each day - just wear a SEMCO logoed shirt, your name badge, and slacks.

Badges:
I have the AHR badges you will need to gain entrance to the show. Please see me before the show at the hotel to pick up your badge. I am not completely sure of my Sunday schedule yet, but I will try and send out a message when you can meet me in the lobby.

Click here for DWP Booth Schedule - Note your EcoNet training time slot. This will be held at the Expo at our booth at 9AM  on Monday and Tuesday (before the show opens).

Monday Mixer: 
Everyone is expected to attend the Monday Mixer to mingle with your reps and guests. If you are not working the booth, please come by 5PM. If you are working the booth, you may leave directly after your shift is over. Marketing will provide some drink tickets at the door but you are welcome to run your own tab as well.

Easy travel to and from the Expo...

For those of you who have been with me to a show before, you know I'm happy to utilize public transportation! Well this is even easier and less scary than public transport.

  • Free Shuttle Buses to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and all official Show Hotels will operate during the three days of the Show.  Buses begin operation at 7:00am on Monday, 8:00am on Tuesday and Wednesday and run on a morning and afternoon schedule.  The afternoon schedule will continue for an hour after the close of the Show.  Schedules and exact pick-up locations will be posted in Show Hotel lobbies and at the LVCC.  Shuttle Bus Routes and Schedule

Some other options for getting around include:

  • Las Vegas Monorail has seven stops along the Strip and at the LVCC.  With discounts for multi-day passes available to Show attendees, the Monorail is a convenient and inexpensive way to get to the Show, as well as major attractions after Show hours. Las Vegas Monorail Discounts

Hilton Amenities Update

I am told by the staff at the Hilton that only one pool will be renovated at a time, so you can go swimming if you choose.

Are You Meeting With Anyone Outside the Meeting Room?

Spots are still open in our meeting room! We have a small projector that we'll be bringing to AHRmeeting schedule.png if you need it. 

Tell me if you are meeting with anyone outside of our meeting room. If one of your contacts can't meet with you during the time we have the meeting room, let me know so I can take a note that you will still be meeting with them somewhere else at a different time.

Just send me:

-The name of who you're meeting with

-The date and time you are meeting

-What you'll be discussing

Leave your trunks at home...

5a3134a5b1b763eaa5757e08f7bf78b2.jpgWe were recently informed by management at The Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Strip that renovations to the Deli, public areas and swimming pool will be taking place during your stay.  There will also be no room service at the hotel.  The hotel is offering Starbucks in the Oasis Lounge in the lobby from 6AM - 11am daily with a few grab and go items. Also the Oasis Food Lounge will be available from 4PM - 12AM daily which has a variety of items you can purchase from their menu.

AHR Pre-show Leads

People can sign up to add us to their show itinerary at AHR. Of those who have decided to come and see us, several have also elected to share their contact info with us. 

Click here to view the leads using Google Sheets (you must be logged in with your Flaktwoods email address. You can also look at the screen shot below.

Feel free to contact a person on this list if it's someone you might want to meet up with at the show. And, of course, keep working on setting up meetings and inviting people to our Monday Mixer!

Do you need to set up a meeting time?

All of our meeting time slots for AHR are currently open.

Our reserved room, Diamond 2, will be open for meetings:

 

Monday January, 30th : 1:00-3:00meeting room chart-3.png

Tuesday January, 31st : 1:00-3:00

Wednesday, February 1st : 1:00-3:00

The room is located in the conference building on Level 2 and can hold 12 people.

You can reserve meeting times in 30-minute increments.
